The Service Companies Announces Executive Level Appointments
Las Vegas, NV – Due to The Service Companies’ continued expansion and recent acquisition of the nation’s fastest growing hospitality temporary staffing firm, Acrobat Outsourcing, President and CEO Steve Wilson announced today several executive level promotions. As the premier provider of managed hospitality services to hotels and casinos in North America, The Service Companies’ acquisition of Acrobat allows for expansion into new segments, resulting in an increased need for staff at executive level positions to keep up with the growing demand of the company’s current 450+ hotel, casino and vacation ownership clients spanning the United States, Caribbean and Mexico.
Effective immediately, hotel and casino industry veteran Kurt Wong has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, formerly Senior Vice President-Operations and Continuous Improvement. In his new role, Kurt will oversee all operational areas of the company as well as assume responsibility for the critical Human Resources Division. Kurt joined The Service Companies in 2009 as Vice President of Operations, having previously worked at Hilton Hotels Corporation and Caesars Entertainment in senior operations roles.
Reporting to Kurt, Keith Gaines will assume the role of Vice President of Operations, overseeing the company’s Regional Vice Presidents group and taking on a larger role in the company’s operational areas, including the expanding Resort Residential Services Group. Keith joined The Service Companies in July 2009 as Director of Operations following a 20+ year career in operations and management with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.
Assuming Keith’s role in the growing Eastern Region will be long-tenured company veteran Martin Duane. Martin has been promoted to Regional Vice President-Eastern Region, formerly Corporate Director of Operations. Prior to joining The Service Companies in July 2009, Martin’s career took him from the East Coast to the West Coast as well as overseas in executive positions from Food and Beverage Director to General Manager with, among others, Hilton Hotels Corporation, Fairmont Hotels, Omni and Marriott Hotels.
Also being promoted to a critical, expanded role within the organization is Andrew Aldrich. Andrew joined The Service Companies more than two years ago as Corporate Director of Planning and Process Improvement. Due to his tireless efforts to build our best-in-class and proprietary technology-based system for tracking any and all metrics within our customer base, Andrew now takes on an even broader role as Vice President-Planning and Strategy as the company expands its hospitality services offering.
Said company CEO Steve Wilson “I couldn’t be more pleased and proud to announce these promotions to critical roles within our company. Each of these leaders has demonstrated their commitment to our company-wide mission and established themselves within their areas”.
