Her knowledge and operations savvy has contributed to The Service Companies becoming the unrivaled provider of cleaning, staffing and managed services in the hospitality industry.
Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing
John Thiesfeld joined The Service Companies in July, 2009. Prior to this and a role with an hospitality asset management firm, John enjoyed a distinguished 25 year career in hospitality sales and marketing. Within that tenure, John spent nearly 17 years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation progressing from on-property sales leadership to Vice President of sales, revenue and marketing operations for some of Hyatt’s largest and most profitable regions.
Regional Vice President of Operations
Victor Vargas launched his career at The Service Companies as a Third Shift Kitchen Cleaner in 2002. With dedication and mastery of his craft, he has advanced through the company into his current role as Regional Vice President. Victor is The Service Companies’ resident expert on all types of floor care and kitchen cleaning.
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Having a distinguished 35 years of experience in all facets of hotel development and operation, Victor Lopez is a true hospitality expert. Before joining The Service Companies, he held leadership roles at Hyatt, overseeing the operations of 32 properties from South America to Hawaii, including all resort properties in North America. He was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Camp Hyatt, Spa Hyatt, Golf Hyatt and learning vacation programs, as well as the gaming operations attached to Hyatt Resorts.
Senior Vice President, Engineering Services
Cornel Sneekes began his career in the engineering services industry in March of 1981 and since that time has held key executive positions at ABM, ABLE, ISS and The Service COmpanies. Cornel has been directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of facility systems, staffing, labor relations, contract development and delivery of services for data centers, class “A” high-rise, industrial, hotels, medical, retail and truck route services. Cornel holds a General “B” Contractors license with the State of California, unlimited steam license with the city of Los Angeles, Certification with I.U.O.E. Local 501 and is a Director on the Board of PCRF.
Vice President of Operations, Western Division
Prior to joining The Service Companies, Holly Borrego held management positions at BG Service Solutions, ISS, and C&W Services. Most recently, she was the Senior Director of Cleaning Services for C&W Services where she was responsible for the development and implementation of standard and continuous improvement processes and procedures as well as the implementation of the company’s strategy in support of the janitorial service line. Holly received her Bachelors degree from Baker University and holds the following certifications: Essentials of FL Program (IFMA), Leading a Distinctive Culture of Service (Disney Institute), CIMS (ISSA & IICRC), Applied Structural Drying (IICRC), Carpet Cleaning (IICRC). She is a Certified Microbial Specialist and Registered Building Service Manager.
