Holly Borrego joined The Service Companies as Regional Vice President of the Western Region in March 2019. She has held management positions at BG Service Solutions, ISS, and C&W Services. Most recently, she was the Senior Director of Cleaning Services for C&W Services where she was responsible for the development and implementation of standard and continuous improvement processes and procedures as well as the implementation of the company’s strategy in support of the janitorial service line. Holly received her Bachelors degree from Baker University and holds the following certifications: Essentials of FL Program (IFMA), Leading a Distinctive Culture of Service (Disney Institute), CIMS (ISSA & IICRC), Applied Structural Drying (IICRC), Carpet Cleaning (IICRC). She is a Certified Microbial Specialist and Registered Building Service Manager.
Keith Gaines joined The Service Companies in July 2009 as an Area Manager for the Southeast Region. Prior to joining the company, Keith spent 21 years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation primarily in operations. During his time with Hyatt, he worked in numerous convention and luxury hotels and held senior management positions within the Rooms Division. Keith was promoted to Regional Vice President – Operations in December 2013 and Vice President – Operations in September 2015. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing the managed services operations for our customer properties in the Eastern region.
Victor Vargas joined the company in 2002 as a Third Shift Kitchen Attendant in Biloxi, Mississippi. He quickly moved up the ranks to Supervisor and took increasingly larger roles with the company, including Project Manager in Tunica and Memphis, Director of Operations, and Vice President of Continuous Improvement. As Regional Vice President of Operations, Victor oversees the managed services operations for our customer properties in the Central region. Prior to joining The Service Companies, he was a Town Site Manager for The Southern Peru Copper Corporation. He holds a degree in Business Administration and a post-graduate degree in Management.
Fletcher Cline, Vice President of Operations, joined Acrobat Outsourcing in 2012 as a Staffing Manager in San Diego, and The Service Companies in 2015 when Acrobat Outsourcing was acquired. Fletcher has held a variety of roles at Acrobat Outsourcing, including Marketing and PR Manager and Director of Operations. In his current role, he oversees Acrobat Outsourcing’s accounts and coordinates the recruiting and staffing efforts nationwide. Fletcher received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University.
Chris Coffman joined JRS International in March 1992 as a window cleaner in Hilton Head, SC, and joined The Service Companies in 2010 following JRS International’s acquisition. Chris continued to grow with JRS International and now manages over a hundred window and chandelier cleaning clients in over 35 locations. He also oversees employee staffing & training, safety, and customer contracts & support for JRS International.
Richard Smith joined The Service Companies following JRS International’s acquisition in 2010. He originally joined JRS International in 1990 as a front-line window cleaner, and over the ensuing years, continued to assume larger roles with the company. In 2013, Richard was promoted to his current position overseeing all JRS International operations for the southeastern United States and the Caribbean.
Christina Kendrix joined The Service Companies as Corporate Controller in April 2019 and oversees the accounting department, develops financial statements and works with auditors, lenders and other outside professional organizations relative to The Service Companies. She is an accounting and finance professional with a background in accounting financial management, financial analysis and team building. Christina has worked in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining our team, Christina was the Vice President of Finance & Controller at Workscapes, Inc., a Herman Miller branded furniture dealership. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University, and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Teresa Agustin has been with The Service Companies since August 2016. As the Corporate Director of Training and Strategic Operations, she oversees the training of our associates company-wide and our employee engagement initiatives. Teresa began her hospitality career in 1998, after finishing her degree in Human Resource Management. She has had international experiences and has held roles in Sales, Operations and Loyalty Marketing. She has worked for Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, Oakwood Worldwide and MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas. Teresa was a recipient of the MGM Resorts International Chairman’s Excellence Award in 2016.
Nikki Bernal is a graduate of Miami Dade College with a degree in Business Administration. Nikki has been with The Service Companies for over 20 years, progressing from senior administrative roles through every position in the Human Resources function. She is responsible for overseeing the rigorous background and E-Verification process for all employees, as well as managing the Human Resources department in the Eastern region. She was promoted into her current role of Director of Human Resources of the East Coast in 2011.
Laurie Katinos joined The Service Companies in January 2009 as Corporate Director of Operations with a concentration in the Housekeeping areas. Prior to joining The Service Companies, Laurie was with Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s headquarters as a Corporate Rooms Manager overseeing the rooms division. In prior years she has served as a senior operations manager at various locations ranging from luxury resorts, urban and large convention properties. In her current role, Laurie is responsible for all The Service Companies Housekeeping Operations, Training and new product development.
Leslie Oaks joined The Service Companies in 2010 as a Human Resources Representative in the Tunica, Mississippi area. She was promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2011 and then to her current role of Director of Human Resources for the Central Region. Prior to joining our team, Leslie worked in Human Resources for a non-profit agency and spent several years in Human Resources with Harrah’s Entertainment. She is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources functions for the Central region.
Ale Sandoval joined The Service Companies in 2012 as a Corporate Human Resources Associate and has managed various processes of the human resources function. Prior to joining The Service Companies, Ale gained 10 years of human resources experience through a financial institution, call center, retail collection and the hospitality industry. Ale was promoted to her current role of Director of Human Resources – Western Region in 2017 and oversees the human resources systems, analytics, and onboarding compliance company-wide, as well as employee relations on the West Coast. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Armena Ballard, Director of Marketing and Communications, joined The Service Companies in 2016 as Marketing Manager. She is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing and communications strategies for the company. Armena was promoted to her current role in 2019. Prior to joining our team, she held multiple marketing positions at AMResorts, a hotel and resort management company. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
